OCTA (OCT Training Academy) has been established to educate Interventional Cardiologists on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Since 2013, we have recognised the significance that OCT provides to interventional procedures. In the past ten years, we have performed over 2500 OCT procedures. After incorporating imaging into our practise, there has been an undeniable change in the patient outcomes. We have transitioned from an Angiogram era to the Lumenogram age.
It is vital that we provide our patients with the best care possible. Precision PCI is a must for our patients. Our Vision is to expand the use of PCI in optimal instances, thereby empowering cardiologists to enhance patient outcomes.
Any new medical technology must be accompanied by sufficient training. These trainings would ensure cardiologists gain knowledge and expertise, allowing them to execute complex treatments independently. We wish to share the information we have acquired over the years with the upcoming generation of cardiologists.
